Optometrist and Director
Anjana Mahadeo is our dedicated optometrist and director at Northgate Optometrists. She completed her optometry degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2002 and became passionate about delivering high-quality eye care. She gained significant experience working in a bustling private practice in Southgate, which was key in her professional development.
In 2007, driven by her ambition to offer outstanding service and eye care, Anjana opened her own practice. She has since furthered her expertise by attending several paediatric courses, enhancing her ability to provide exceptional eye care to young patients. Anjana is also renowned for her expertise in fitting scleral lenses for keratoconus patients, making her a go-to specialist in the area. She is recognised for her combination of skill, care, and innovation in optometry.
Nicolette Gillingham
Optometrist
Nicolette Gillingham is our resident optometrist at Northgate Optometrists, providing comprehensive care to our patients. Her passion for helping people of all ages led her to a career in eye care, where her appreciation for cleanliness and meticulous care shines. When not working, she values time spent with loved ones, stays active in the gyms, cares for animals, enjoys music, and reads for personal development.
